We are proud to celebrate the recent graduates of our PEEP (Pathways to increase Employment and Earnings Potential) Career Lab —a group of determined individuals who have taken meaningful steps toward building brighter futures.
Throughout the program, students developed essential workforce readiness skills designed to prepare them for today’s job market. A key focus of the curriculum was helping participants strengthen how they present themselves professionally. In Unit 6, for example, students engaged in a “Resumakeover,” where they learned how to craft workforce-ready resumes and compelling cover letters that highlight their strengths, experiences, and career goals .
Participants in the PEEP program gain practical skills that they can immediately apply, including:

Beyond resume writing, the program emphasized practical, real-world skills that support long-term success. Students built confidence in communicating their value, learned how to position themselves competitively for employment opportunities, and gained tools to navigate the job search process with clarity and purpose. The curriculum is intentionally designed to connect learning with action—helping participants move from preparation to opportunity.
Graduation day was a powerful reflection of that growth in action. As part of the celebration, PEEP participants took part in mock interviews with real company human resources professionals—giving them the opportunity to practice their skills in a realistic setting, receive immediate feedback, and make meaningful connections with industry leaders. It was an inspiring moment that showcased just how far they’ve come and how ready they are to step into the workforce.
This graduation is more than a milestone—it’s a testament to each student’s commitment, resilience, and growth. Completing the PEEP program reflects not only the skills they’ve gained, but also their readiness to take the next step toward meaningful employment and increased earning potential.
