Kiana is graduating from Farmington Hight School heading to Normandale Community College with one big goal: becoming an anesthesiologist. She’s using college as her reset button—a chance to prove her resilience, build her skills, and step confidently into the healthcare field.
Determined to honor her family’s sacrifices, she hopes to one day give back by mentoring other first-gen and low-income students chasing their dreams.
Namiyah is graduating from North Community High School and heading to the University of St. Thomas!
Namiyah says her mother has always encouraged her to be the best version of herself, so she is determined to succeed—not just for herself, but to inspire others to do the same. This scholarship will ease her financial burden and allow her to focus on chasing her dreams.
From picking up trash in her neighborhood to volunteering at school sporting events, Namiyah has already been giving back. In the future, she plans to return to her high school to share her story, her struggles, and her successes—showing other students that it’s all worth it in the end.
Allen is graduating from North Community High School and taking his talents to MassBi Range.
As captain of his basketball team, Allen knows the value of leadership, teamwork, and determination. Now, he’s ready to apply that same drive to his education—learning skills that will allow him to give back to his community in meaningful ways.
This scholarship is a blessing that helps lift a financial weight off his family’s shoulders, making it easier for him to focus on his future. Allen’s goal is simple but powerful: to share what he learns so other low-income and first-generation students can access the same opportunities and financial resources he’s been able to.
Rashad is graduating from DeLaSalle High School and heading to Hampton University!
As president of Kappa League, Rashad leads by example—guiding his peers toward success both in the classroom and in life. Now, he’s ready to take the next step: earning his degree and building a strong career from it.
This scholarship will help ease the major expenses of college, reducing debt early so Rashad can focus on what truly matters—learning, leading, and giving back. His future plans include helping other students find scholarship opportunities and supporting them through the application process.
Jaivon is graduating from Hopkins High School and heading to the University of Wisconsin!
Jaivon plans to major in marketing, excel in the business field, and one day own a multi-million dollar company with the ultimate goal of retiring his parents. He believes wholeheartedly that all of this is possible with God.
Jaivon has already made an impact on his community, from helping younger kids during football practice to serving as a Teacher’s Assistant in his school’s outdoor adventure class. His vision for the future is to inspire youth who feel “counted out”, just as he has been at times, and to teach them the value of education as a pathway to opportunity.

Build Wealth teaches all family members to support character-building and accomplishments. Our Youth Stabilization Program is directed at primary, secondary and post-secondary students along with adults under 30 years old. Participants learn financial concepts and skills, and how to become ready for college and a career.
Participants learn the importance of money and how to budget and save earnings. We also help students prepare a resume and develop skills for a successful education and career as well as learning the dos and don’ts of social media.
