As we head into the final stretch of the school year, Build Wealth’s Youth Stabilization Program (YSP) is excited to offer monetary scholarships to help our graduating students pursue secondary education without unnecessary financial barriers.
🎓 About the Youth Stabilization Program:
YSP is all about empowering junior high and high school students with the financial skills and career readiness tools they need to succeed. Through schools, nonprofit partners, and community events, students learn about:
- Budgeting 💰
- Debt & Credit 💳
- Resume Writing ✍️
- Social Media Awareness 📱
We believe knowledge is power—and financial knowledge is generational power.
The Raise the Bar for Generational Wealth Scholarship
This scholarship supports first-generation and/or low-income students by removing common barriers to postsecondary education. Funds can be used for:
- Dorm housing deposits 🏠
- Laptops 💻
- Books & course materials 📚
- Nursing school uniforms 👩⚕️
- Tools for automotive training 🔧
Many students struggle because financial aid doesn’t arrive until weeks into the semester, leaving them without books or supplies. We aim to change that.
📝 Eligibility:
Graduating seniors who:
✔️ Participated in YSP during the 2024–2025 school year
✔️ Are enrolled in a trade school, 2-year, or 4-year program
✔️ Commit to giving back to the program as a mentor, speaker, or volunteer
