I am Lea Awoudi. a HUD-Certified Housing Counselor and Senior Financial Coach at Build Wealth MN Inc. I graduated from the University of Minnesota, Morris, with a BA in Political Science and Minors in French and Statistics. With 13 years of experience in the housing service sector, I am dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their homeownership dreams. My passion for financial education and homeownership stems from my early childhood experiences. My family was one of the few in our community to own a home, which made me aware of many's barriers, such as lack of education and the perception that homeownership is difficult. I aspire to change this narrative because I believe that with proper education and coaching, families can own homes, thrive, and build generational wealth and lasting legacies. Before joining Build Wealth, I worked as a housing advocate, assisting families experiencing homelessness in achieving housing stability. I have also worked as a realtor, helping first-time homebuyers purchase their first homes. I believe that homeownership is a vital stepping stone to financial prosperity, and I strive to bring value by educating, empowering, and advocating for my clients from the start of their journey until they reach their goals.
